Bringing a baby into the world is one of the most demanding things your body will ever do. And when it’s over, the world turns its attention to the baby — which makes sense. But your body just went through something enormous, and it deserves care too.
The postpartum season can be full, exhausting, and beautiful all at once. Whether you had a vaginal birth or a C-section, your spine, pelvis, and nervous system have been through a significant transition. Healing takes time, and consistent support makes a real difference in how that healing unfolds.
At Serving Life Chiropractic in Dallas, we’re here to help you recover well — restoring alignment, rebuilding your body’s foundation, and supporting your nervous system so you can show up for yourself and your family.
Serving Life has quite literally carried me through my pregnancy and postpartum, and now my son is also being cared for. The staff is absolutely incredible and knowledgeable! They have so many great resources and will help you through any stage of life you or your little one are in.
I’ve been seeing Dr. Denisa Weber at SLC for 4+ years consistently and don’t know what I’d do without my chiropractic care! She’s seen me through my pregnancy and postpartum and she also adjusts my baby and husband. The office is always so kind and such a happy place, and we never wait long. The adjustments are quick (under 10 mins) and very effective. They helped me to be more comfortable throughout pregnancy, and just to allow my nervous system to be more in rest and repair rather than fight or flight mode.
I started going to them when I was three months pregnant, and they helped me through all the ups and downs of my body changing during pregnancy and got my body feelings it’s best at all times. Their communication and booking systems are also amazing and they work to accommodate busy/changing schedules so well. All the doctors and staff always make you feel so welcome and cared for, and I cannot imagine going through my pregnancy without them!
Many mamas are ready to come in within a few days to a couple of weeks after a vaginal birth. For C-section recovery, we typically recommend waiting until your incision has had some time to close — usually around 4–6 weeks — though we can always talk through your specific situation together.
If you were under care with us during your pregnancy, we’ll already have a clear picture of your nervous system and can pick right back up with a postpartum care plan tailored to where your body is now.
If you’re coming in for the first time, that’s completely fine too. We’ll start with a conversation and progress scans to understand what your body needs, then build a care plan from there.
